BBC Publishes Graphics Cookbook

The BBC has published their Graphics Library built using ggplot2 in R.

The library represents a good example of how templates can be used to codify expertise within a team so that it is easier to share and retain. They were kind enough to create a custom R package so that others can replicate their work.

Citizen Audit Gets NYT Shout-Out

The New York Times gave a shout-out to Citizen Audit, one of the generous contributors to the Nonprofit Open Data Collective.

Sample Framework for NGO Web Domains

David Oldenkamp, formerly the International Documents Librarian at Indiana University, started a database of 415 international NGOs and their web domains. The list has been expanded and incorporated into a an NGO custom search engine to search within all of the domains for content.
